Introductions

Divining Femininity was formed by 4 women, each with her own unique perspective on what it means to be feminine in the 21st century.  With a diverse range of approaches, Amy, Jackie, Vena & Gill combine their specialist interests to create a truly magical understanding of contemporary femininity.  Let me introduce you to them…

Jackie Walker

  • Name: Jackie Walker
  • Speciality: Relationship Coach/Therapist
  • 5 words to describe me: Clutter-buster, Relationship Coach, Visionary, People Lover, Magical
  • What is femininity: It’s what we, each and every woman, has hidden deep inside often masked and buried so deep that it’s never been recognised.  It’s the knowing that you as a woman no matter your size, your age or what you wear are every bit as much a woman as the stereotypes.  It’s allowing ourselves to be vulnerable, to be willing to show our emotions, ask for that hug, ask for the caring.  It’s the softening of the rigid to gain strength away from fear of ridicule or weakness.

  • Name: Amy Palko

  • 5 words to describe me: Poet, Storyteller, Mother, Photographer, Hestia
  • What is femininity: It is hidden in the graceful dance of rose petals in soft summer zephyrs, the gentle caress of rain showers on hilltops, the ancient grooves of an oak tree standing firm throughout the seasons.  It is expressed in the curve of my hips, the flow of my movements, the sashay of my step.  Femininity, for me, is something that exists both as an inner and outer reality, which becomes expressed through the wondrous variety of  feminine form.

Gill says: A precious Soul able to see beauty and reflect back your deepest dreams of a magical inner world that can be re-awakened and experienced in a heartbeat  with her lightness and joy.

Vena says: Beautiful. Just beautiful. Amy, her writing, her photography, her wisdom and presence – just beautiful. And beauty is so effective.

Jackie says: A warm loving lady full of surprises! She has an uncanny knack at picking up and using nuances and details to share the beauty in everything.  With a PhD behind her, Amy’s true path is now gilded as she shares her writing and phototgraphy.  The creation of the Goddess archetype work has truly allowed Amy’s shining light to give a warm glow to all those she touches.

Vena

  • Name: Vena Ramphal
  • Speciality: Unwrapping the Gifts of Passion
  • 5 words to describe me: Passion coach, Yogini, Dancer, Lover, Soft-n-Sharp
  • What is Femininity: The full range of everything women choose to be. And everything feel we need to suppress…. From the boardroom to the bedroom, with the supermarket shop on the way. We dont always express our femininity overtly, but its always present, because our sex-gender is at the core of who we are. That applies to all people. I’m interested in helping women live their lives more effortlessly by consciously connecting with the innate power of their femininity.

Amy says: A beautiful soul, Vena radiates love, compassion and a gentle inner strength that stems from her commitment to the embodied feminine and the surrendered self.

Gill says: Vena is young and yet mature simultaneously-able to hold the Divine child and worldly woman in a sacred space to grow and be true to her innocence and passion.

Jackie says: The colour that reminds me of Vena is that of the most glorious sunset – deep reds and oranges.  With a warmth and generosity of spirit to spread to everyone, Vena encourages you to question the accepted good girl script … and tear it up!!  From personal experience Vena inspired me by recognising that a broken heart is actually a heart broken open.

Gill Taylor

  • Name: Gill Taylor
  • Speciality: Aligning you with Your Sacred Purpose
  • 5 words to describe me: Guide, Alchemist, Healer, Mystic, Astrologer (& Damsel)
  • What is femininity: It is being true to my inner Divine child and expressing her innocence, sweetness and resilience through the maturity of being a woman who having experienced both joy and sorrow in feminine form can face all with equanimity. Plus the belief that true strength and inner power is mine when I am centred and in touch with this core-my own Sacred purpose! It is the dancer and the dance we live in life reflected in song, movement, friendship, nature, magical daydreams, mystical moments of spiritual awakening and shared intimate love; an  inner motivation that knows no bounds; only a desire to fulfil the promise of living fully all that remains unlived.

Amy says: Incredibly insightful, Gill has an enormous capacity for understanding and supporting the growth of the individual, as it is written in the stars – a complete  gem!
